Carrasco Quintana Law strongly believes in fee transparency.

Very few people would agree to pay an unknown amount for services in most instances. For some reason, the services of a traditional law firm have become the exception.

While we are all familiar with the old adage “time is money,” I don’t believe you should pay someone solely based on how much time they spend on a matter. The value you receive is much more important than the time spent.

Although I do offer traditional hourly billing, I also provide a variety of fixed and subscription fee packages that are designed so you know exactly what your total cost will be before we begin working together.

Of course, if you want to pay an hourly fee, I can accommodate you.

Below is a list of the flat fee and subscription fee services.

Please also note that certain matters may be of such sophistication that I am unable to provide services on a flat-fee or subscription fee basis. In such situations, I am happy to offer such services on an hourly basis. Also note that the price ranges do not include filing, registration, government and/or court fees and other disbursements.

REAL ESTATE

Commercial Lease Agreement

From initial lease proposal to final execution, the Commercial Lease Agreement Package provides all-inclusive services, including the drafting, review and negotiation of your commercial lease agreement.

Flat Fee: $1,500 – $3,500 (fee varies depending upon lease length and complexity).

Residential Lease Agreement

I will draft and/or review your residential lease agreement subject to your negotiated terms with the other party.

Flat Fee: $500

Residential Real Estate Closing

I represent you in all aspects of the purchase/sale, including the contract of sale, title matters, and closing.

Flat Fee: $1,000 – $2,000 (fee varies due to the complexity of the transaction).

BUSINESS

Purchase/Sale of Business Package

Designed for those buying or selling a small business (whether an asset or stock transaction), this package includes the drafting of a Purchase/Sale Agreement, bill of sale and any necessary corporate resolutions authorizing the transaction.

Flat Fee: starting at $2,500

Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policies

Designed for individuals and businesses that own and operate a website, this package includes a phone/Skype consultation to discuss your website operations, the potential liability associated with your particular website, and how a well-drafted Terms of Use and Privacy Policy might mitigate that liability.

Flat Fee: $750 to $1500 (fee varies depending upon nature of website and complexity).

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

We will tailor a binding NDA to meet your specific needs. This fee includes our counseling you with regard to the document.

Flat Fee: $500

Strategy/Assessment Session

For a flat-fee rate, I offer a 1-hour conference (Zoom or over-the-phone – your choice) to analyze any legal issues impacting your business – from your business plan, to a specific contract, a strategic business matter, or anything else. This is also an opportunity for you to evaluate the costs and benefits of potential future work with me. I recommend that you select this session before hiring us for additional services. Sometimes, following this session, those additional services that you might have considered may no longer be necessary.

Flat Fee: $300

Small Business Formation Package

Designed for conventional businesses not seeking investor capital. These companies are generally formed as limited liability companies (LLCs) or corporations electing S-corporation status.
The Small Business Formation Package includes the following services:

Preparing and filing Articles of Organization (LLC) or Articles of Incorporation (corporation)
Preparation of Operating Agreement (LLC) of Shareholder Agreement (corporation)
Company structure and governance advice

Flat Fee: $1,000 – $2,000 plus registered agent and filing fees (total investment depends upon the number of founders and the complexity of the desired agreement provisions).

SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

I offer budget-friendly legal subscription plans, designed to help you proactively address your legal needs. Subscribers can easily schedule phone calls or send documents for review. But most importantly, I help you identify legal issues early so that they don’t become expensive legal problems down the road.
Unless otherwise noted, the subscription may be canceled at the end of any month.

* As a prerequisite to this subscription, prospective subscribers must purchase the Strategy/Assessment Session (see above) in order for us to evaluate your needs and establish a suitable monthly subscription fee.

Silver Subscription Plan – $350/month*

Designed for clients who prefer to have an attorney on-call to answer quick questions and offer advice on demand.

The Silver Subscription Plan includes:

Unlimited emails and messaging via client portal
Limited monthly document review (either 1 document between 10-20 pages or 2 documents up to 10 pages)
Quarterly strategy session (provided at the end of the 1st quarter)
Annual business assessment (provided on/about the 1-year subscription anniversary)
10% reduction in flat-fee and hourly billing matters

Gold Subscription Plan – $550/month*

Designed for clients who also require document drafting.

The Gold Subscription Plan includes:

All Silver Subscription Plan services
Limited monthly document drafting (1 document up to 10 pages)
15% reduction in flat-fee and hourly billing matters

Platinum Subscription Plan – $1,000/month*

Designed for clients who require additional document drafting and in-house services.

The Platinum Subscription Plan includes:

All Gold Subscription Plan services
Limited monthly document drafting (1 document up to 20 pages or 2 documents up to 10 pages each)
On-site quarterly visit (provided at the end of each quarter, limited to 3 hours)
20% reduction in flat-fee and hourly billing matters

In addition to the above subscriptions, the following narrowly-tailored subscriptions are available

General Counsel Subscription Plan – $1,500 – $3,000/month*

Designed for startups and small businesses that require ongoing legal support, but not to the extent that would justify hiring an in-house attorney. Our General Counsel subscription plan is designed to bridge that gap by offering all of the services included in our other subscription plans in one all-inclusive package. Subscribers to this plan receive the firm as their off-site general counsel.

Contract Administration Subscription Plan – $500/month

Designed for clients who wish to limit their services to the review of contracts and other legal documents. If you are sent contracts or other legal documents, forward them to us. Following our review, we will discuss them with you, alerting you to any red flags or items that we believe need to be modified for your benefit.

Our pricing is largely personalized and we prefer to set the personal pricing for your package after our initial discussion regarding your needs. HOURLY RATES

Most firms practice under the billable hour model, and so do we – when it makes sense. Under certain circumstances, it is simply not possible to predict how much of our time a matter will require. In those cases, we will give you our best estimate of the range of costs that may be involved, then bill you on an hourly basis. And if you ever need to know the fees you’ve incurred on a matter mid-month, just ask us. We strive to keep the billing process transparent and up-to-date.
